In a statement released on Monday, the Council reiterated its full support for all actions taken by the Egyptian government to ensure the protection of national security and regional stability, particularly in light of the ongoing geopolitical tensions in the Middle East.
The statement stressed that the proposed forced displacement of Palestinians not only jeopardizes the future of the Palestinian people but also represents an attempt to erase the Palestinian cause, which the Council firmly believes is central to the broader Arab world. “This is not just a Palestinian issue; it is an Arab cause, one that touches the very heart of our collective identity and the future of the region,” the statement declared.
