BEHEIRA: A patient in a private hospital in Beheira died from an electric shock following a short circuit at the hospital. The victim’s family expressed their anger by destroying the hospital room, reported Al-Masry Al-Youm.
Abdel Aa’l Ahmed Abdel Aa’l, an employee at the Beheira Electricity Distribution Company, was admitted to the hospital for a gallbladder removal surgery. During his stay, the power went out and returned after half an hour causing a short circuit which electrocuted him.
