IBM is participating in the Cairo ICT exhibition and conference to showcase its latest cloud-computing solutions and applications as well as the company’s work the field of large data analysis for the public sector. IBM will also be exhibiting security, social media, and mobile tablet applications.

Bee raising awareness about online payment technology

During the exhibition, Bee is planning to showcase its latest online payment systems. Bee will also take advantage of their participation in the exhibition to help raise awareness about Egypt’s online payment market.

Last month, Bee launched a service for electricity bill payment via 20,000 outlets nationwide, targeting around 10m beneficiaries in cooperation with South Cairo Electricity Distribution Company and the government financial services company “e-finance”. The services will also include phone credit transfers and university tuition payment.

Xerox offers printers to increase SME productivity

Xerox is taking advantage of its participation in the 2014 Cairo ICT exhibition to showcase its latest technological and printing products for supporting cloud-computing, which is one the main topics of the exhibition this year. The event will witness the launch of new devices for the first time in the Egyptian market to support SMEs (small and medium enterprises) by enhancing productivity and increasing efficiency in production processes, as well as document preservation.

Xerox is also showcasing ConnectKey programmes integrated in Xerox’s multi-functional devices, which help to simplify procedures. Through these programmes, the user can send important documents through natural channels for work and printing the documents safely and easily using any mobile device.

E-finance showcases experience using gasoline smart-cards

E-finance is participating in this year’s exhibition in order to publicise the company’s services and projects, including pension cards, the petroleum products subsidy and ration project, online bills for small payment collection, a card issue centre, the automated Corporate Payment Services (CPS) system and automated electronic payment system for government salaries, the government accounts management system concerned with budget preparation, government financial spending monitoring, regulating government expenses, and the online tax and customs collection system that operates through banks.

The General Authority for Social Security and Pensions is also participating in pension payment utilising ATM cards at the exhibition and all types of pension payments that allow pensioners receive their funds will be showcased at the event. The process mainly involves using cards.

OSN participates for first time, showcases latest receivers in Egyptian market

For the first time, OSN is participating in the 18th Cairo ICT Exhibition alongside major international telecommunications and technology companies.

Their participation comes only a few months after the launch of the “OSN Plus HD” one of its newest receivers that the company will allow visitors to test. The company is also showcasing the “Go By OSN” services which were launched during the second quarter of 2014 and allow the view to enjoy watching what he or she wants to watch. This service witnessed great demand in light of increased internet usage rates in Egypt which have reached unprecedented levels.
