A little bit of sister solidarity is a good thing, particularly during October, a month marked internationally as Breast Cancer Awareness month.
The women of El Horreya Designs are marking this month with a small bag, similar to the wildly successful series of makeup and toiletries bags that have been selling like hotcakes in local boutiques and on online boutiques such as Fashion Republik.
The bags are lined in silky striped cotton, with an outside plastic casing and a little pink ribbon that pays homage to the struggle of women suffering from breast cancer.
For LE 150 proceeds from the sale of the bags go to a local breast cancer hospital in dire need of funds.
