At the 2016 UIPM Biathle/Triathle World Championship, which took place in Sarasota, Florida, the Egyptian national team for modern pentathlon won 36 medals: 14 gold, 12 silver, and 10 bronze.
Four-hundred players competed at the championship, representing 29 countries, including: US, England, Egypt, Georgia, UAE, South Africa, Russia, Kazakhstan, Czech Republic, Austria, Italy, Armenia, Belarus, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Namibia, Kenya, India, Sweden, Lithuania, France, Latvia, and Ukraine.
