EDA organised participation of Egyptian companies in 11 international expos in September

Sherine Al-Shorbagy, CEO of the Export Development Authority (EDA) of Egypt, revealed in a press statement that the EDA organised the participation of Egyptian companies in 11 international exhibitions last September, in different sectors, including the medical, chemical, engineering, food, textiles, garment industries and books.

“The EDA also implemented an Egyptian pavilion in four international exhibitions, including ASIA FRUIT LOGISTICA, World Food Moscow exhibition, Africa Medec, and Marmomacc,” according to a statement from the Ministry of Trade and Industry on Monday.

The CEO of the EDA continued that it prepared 25 reports last September on the competitiveness and acceptance of Egyptian products in international markets in the sectors of building materials, textiles and ready-made clothes. These reports included information about the countries that Egypt could export to.

She pointed out that the authority also held a number of workshops and meetings related to export development, providing the information required for exporting to 125 Egyptian companies in various sectors during last month.
