Several political and revolutionary forces have called for rallies to mark 28 January, the second anniversary of the Friday of Anger, and escalate the opposition against President Mohamed Morsy.

A peaceful demonstration is planned for 4pm that will start in front of Al-Sayeda Zeinab Mosque and to head to the Shura Council. Following afternoon prayers another demonstration will start from Omar Makram Mosque in Tahrir, to remember the martyrs of the revolution.

Many Facebook pages have announced that there will be marches heading to the Presidential Palace.

In Port Said, Suez and Ismailia, several calls for protests have condemned President Morsy’s decision to implement emergency laws for 30 days. Protesters intend to break the curfew by staging protests and sit-ins from 9pm to 6am, according to state-owned Al-Ahram.
