Real estate company Palm Hills Developments have been awarded the coveted ‘Residential Project of the Year’ at this year’s Cityscape Awards for Real Estate in Egypt.
Palm Hills won the award for its ‘Golf Views Neighbourhood’ project. The company is carrying out the extension of its winning project “Golf Extension” in 6th of October City, which includes an impressive 27 hole-golf course within its grounds.
The Cityscape Awards sponsored by Lafarge Cement Egypt SAE took place Wednesday, awarding Egypt’s best and most innovative real estate developments.
The awards this year witnessed a 20% increase in nominations and integrated a brand new category into its lineup, entitled the ‘Community, Culture & Tourism Project’ Award. The award aimed at recognising the growing potential for future city developments as Egypt endeavours to meet increasing demand for real estate across all sectors for all classes.
Abu Soma Development Company (ASDC) won the community, culture and tourism project award for phase one of SomaBay. This project extends on the Red Sea coast and includes diverse variety of luxury hotels and residential units.
Other winning projects included SODIC West for ‘best mixed-use project’ and Mivida Downtown for ‘best mixed-use project – in progress’. Cairo Business Park won the ‘best commercial project’. Telal El Alamein won the ‘best leisure and hospitality project’ and Bo Islands won the award of the ‘best in progress leisure and hospitality project’.
Of the many nominations received, Cityscape’s panel of international experts shortlisted 23 finalists across seven categories.
