At least 25 killed in Alexandria train crash

At least 25 passengers were killed while and 80 others were injured in Alexandria as two trains collided on Friday afternoon, according to health officials.

The incident took place in Alexandria when an express train from Cairo rammed into the rear of a train en route to Port Said from Alexandria, according to state media.

The injured have been transferred to different hospitals to receive treatment in public hospitals.

Prime Minister Sherif Ismail called on the government to present all help to the injured. Meanwhile, the prosecution has started to investigate the incident.
