The presidential office announced on Friday that it will hold an international press conference to explain current situation in Egypt tomorrow, Saturday.
The press conference will be held at the Presidential palace at 3 pm.

The decision to hold a press conference comes after clashes ensued on the streets of Egypt on Friday between Muslim Brotherhood supporters, residents and the police.

Several countries including France and Germany have condemned the crackdown on supporters of deposed President Mohamed Morsi who have held two sit-in at Raba’a Al-Aadweya mosque and Al-Nahda square for the better part of the month July.

On the other hand, Arab countries have expressed their support with the Saudi King being a most vocal; in a televised speech, he offered his full support to the Egyptian interim government and called upon other countries to follow suit.
