15 people killed in two separate road accidents

Two separate road accidents in Fayoum on Sunday night left 15 people dead. Eleven people were killed and nine were injured on the Fayoum-Beni Suef road on Sunday in front of a Fayoum Spinning Company factory.

The bodies of the dead and injured were transferred to Fayoum General Hospital, according to state-owned Al-Ahram. The accident occurred as a result of a broken steering wheel and the casualty included bystanders who were standing in front of the factory.

In a separate incident on Sunday night a microbus flipped on the Fayoum-Cairo road, leaving four conscripts dead and nine others injured. They were returning to a security camp in Fayoum. The Ministry of Interior said that foul play was not suspected in the accident.
