Four soldiers were injured during military operations against terrorists in North Sinai, local media reported on Wednesday.

The operations took place in Rafah and Sheikh Zuweid. The soldiers were transferred to Al-Arish hospital.

In a separate incident, the Armed Forces successfully detonated seven bombs planted on the roads, without casualties.

Meanwhile, the army killed two militants after following their movements in southern Rafah.

Sinai has become the scene of frequent clashes between militants and state security forces. An extensive counter-insurgency operation was launched to curb militancy within Sinai. Security forces are combing the area for other militants and adding further protection to the area.
