450 companies to visit Food Africa, Africa Food Manufacturing

The organisers of Food Africa, an international trade fair and exhibition for food and beverages, announced that it would be hosting more than 450 companies representing major importers of food products, agricultural crops, and food manufacturing technology during the period from 22 April to 24 April at the Cairo International Convention Centre (CICC).

According to a press statement issued on Tuesday, many large companies are participating in the exhibitions, such as Spinneys, one of the largest retail store chains in Africa and the Middle East, and Choppies, which is one of the most popular retail markets in South Africa.

Another company participating is Mohammed Abdallah Sharbatly, the largest company for importing and distributing fruits in Saudi Arabia and the Middle East.

Food Africa will be organised along with Africa Food Manufacturing. Both expos together form the largest gathering of food industries in Egypt. This event will include six major sectors, namely the food industry and the sectors of agricultural crops, fish products, production inputs, food manufacturing technology, and packaging.

The event will also host international participants from more than 30 countries, including Italy, Spain, Poland, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, India, Greece, Nigeria, Kenya, and others, according to the statement.
