We target to make Egypt our regional hub to expand in the region, said Patrick Locker, the company’s senior official for the Middle East region.

Electrolux operates four factories across Egypt, providing 4,000 direct jobs.

Meanwhile, Ashraf Ragab, director of an Electrolux factory in Cairo, said that the company has 47 factories across the world, noting that its new products are more energy-efficient, reduce water consumption, and have longer life spans.

Electrolux in Egypt has sales of SEK 1.7 billion (USD 200 million) and manufactures washing machines, refrigerators, cookers, and water heaters at four production sites.
