Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi on Saturday launched the Arab and African Youth Platform in Aswan which was named the capital of African youth.

The platform takes place from 16 to 18 March, in the presence of Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly and Parliament Speaker, Ali Abdel Aal, with the participation of African and Arab delegates and above 1,500 youth to discuss the challenges they face in their countries.

The platform aims to help the youth across the Arab world and the African continent to develop their knowledge in all areas, discuss various topics, and exchange experience between them.

The agenda of the platform revolves around many issues concerning Arab and African youth, in line with Egypt’s presidency of the African Union in 2019.

Moreover, the forum includes debates sessions, workshops, and open dialogues between youth and decision makers regarding the challenges they are facing in the Arab world and Africa.

On Thursday, the Minister of Interior, Mahmoud Tawfik, held a meeting to discuss the procedures adopted to ensure Aswan’s security plan during the forum.
