Zamalek, under coach Micho, will meet Misr Lel Makkasa on Thursday at Al Salam stadium in the second gameweek of the Egyptian Premier League.

It seems that history does not favour one team over the other, and remains impartial seeing that both teams have met on the pitch 13 times, each winning six times with one draw.

Zamalek enter the match today after winning their first game in the league against Al Ittihad Alexandria, reaping three points, aiming to move up in the table. Misr Lel Makkasa also target their second victory in this season, after beating Aswan on 3-2 in their opening game.

The White Knight will not have major changes in their squad, including Mohamed Awad as goalkeeper, Mohamed Abdel Ghany, Mahmoud Alaa, Hamdi Nagguez, Mohamed Abdel Shafi, Ferjani Sassi, Tarek Hamed, Mahmoud Shikabala, Achraf Bencharki, Youssef Obama, and Mostafa Mohamed.

On the other side, Makkasa’s coach Ahmed Hossam Mido depends on young players in his squad, including Ahmed Mody, Salah Rico, Paulin Fawafi, Mohamed Ibrahim, Amr Marei, Salah Amin, Salah Ashour, and Khaled Ocho.
