An Austrian delegation of eight companies from the water sector headed by Austria’s Ambassador in Cairo Georg Stillfried and Vice President of the Austrian Chamber of Commerce Carmen Goby will visit Cairo from 3 to 5 October to showcase how they can support the development of the Egyptian water and wastewater sector.

The companies are experts in their respective fields, and their activities include system solutions for water and wastewater treatment plants along with sea water desalination plants. Other companies supply heavy-duty fittings, modern hydropower water turbines, or rotary, swivel, and linear actuators.

During this three-day visit, the participants will meet a selection of the most important representatives from Egypt’s water-related ministries, authorities, and companies. Furthermore, high-level group meetings will be organised in which Austrian companies will be able to showcase their expertise and discuss collaborations.

This visit will hopefully lead to many more successful joint projects between Egypt and Austria and bolster their water security.

Austrian companies in the water and wastewater sectors are well known for their quality products and services, as well as for their flexibility in securing business success for all parties involved.

They are also world-leaders in some areas of their expertise and are committed to help Egypt fight against water scarcity, as the companies involved have already successfully implemented various projects in Egypt.
