Al-Sisi follows up on latest developments of Egypt’s Future project

President Abdel-Fattah Al-Sisi followed up on latest developments concerning the Egypt’s Future national project for agricultural production on Wednesday in a meeting with Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly along with several officials involved in the project.

Presidential Spokesperson Bassam Rady stated that the president was briefed on the developments of the current and future stages of the project, receiving an overview of the elements and components of its infrastructure and directing the establishment of an integrated road network to connect all areas of the project with the main axes in its geographical surroundings in order to accommodate the development movement and the expected future urban development.

Additionally, he followed up on the framework of the New Delta in terms of the vast size of the reclaimed lands, the ensuing huge transportation and trade movement, and the intensity of diverse employment as per the state’s strategy to increase the proportion of agricultural and urban lands from the total geographical area of ​​the republic.

Rady added that the meeting also witnessed the presentation of the executive position of each of the land reclamation projects in the governorates of Minya and Beni Suef, as well as the greenhouse complex in the Lahoun area of Fayoum.
