Giza National Automotive (GNA), a subsidiary of National Automotive Company (NATCO), opened on Wednesday the largest sales, service and spare parts (3S) facility in Egypt with an investment that exceeds EGP 180m.

The new facility consists of three floors of showrooms and is located in Pyramids Heights, on km 22 of the Cairo-Alexandria Desert Road.

“The opening of the new facility is a tribute celebration of NATCO’s vast achievements in the Egyptian automotive market over 25 years, confirming our confidence in the Egyptian economy’s ability to overcome challenges,” said NATCO chairman Karim Saad.

“We are also very committed to our leadership in the Egyptian market and additional growth with bigger investments to support this vital sector of our economy,” Saad added.

The new facility allows customers to test-drive new cars and includes a larger service, maintenance and paint workshop, along with a specialised floor for administrators and technicians to follow the visiting customers’ requests.

Saad expressed his pride in Natco’s long-term partnership with Mercedes-Benz. “NATCO has provided a distinct model in the support and development of the automotive industry in Egypt by assembling luxury cars equal in quality as other European and global factories,” he said.

Natco has acquired around 50% of the average premium brands market share over the past five years. The company currently holds an extensive network of six companies operating in all areas of production, sales, services, spare parts and consumer finance in the Egyptian market, including Egyptian German Automotive, Giza National Automotive, Cairo National Automotive, Alexandria National Automotive, Star Finance and Young Stars.
