The market share of HTC mobile phones rose to 8%, ranking fourth in terms of mobile phone sales in the Egyptian market during the first nine months of 2015 and ranking second in terms of the financial value of sales.

This is due to the high prices of HTC devices.  Meanwhile, the share of Lenovo smart devices rose to 12% and ranked third in Egyptian market sales.

HTC managed to increase the market share of its brands it’s in Egypt, said Tarek Abdel Mohsen, the Marketing Director of JoVi Tronix, HTC and Lenovo’s exclusive agent in Egypt.

During 2016, the company plans to raise its market share of HTC devices to 14%, according to Abdel Mohsen. The company aims to increase its sales growth rates to 25% to 30%.
