Egypt’s Al-Kamash wins gold at 2016 South African Swimming Grand Prix

Egyptian swimmer and University of South Carolina student Marwan Al-Kamash won the gold medal at the 2016 South African Swimming Grand Prix in the 400m free with a final time of 3:55.37

Al-Kamash finished just slightly ahead of Szurdoki Brent, who finished in second with a time of 3:56.26.

Jarryd Baxter finished third with a time of 3:58.02 and Luke Erwee came in fourth in 4:07.09.

Ruan Ras, Roberto Gomez, Reynier Pretorius, Jacques Rensburg, Flavio Ferreri and Dayen Wilson ended in the fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth, ninth and tenth place, respectively. They posted times of 4:07.45, 4:11.59, 4:13.15, 4:13.75, 4:14.99 and 4:16.76, respectively.
