Size of Siemens Fire Alarm Systems business in Egypt amounts to €20m in 2016

Osama Dawood, executive director of Siemens Fire Alarm Systems in Egypt, said that the company realised business worth €20m in 2016.

He added that Cairo ICT 2016 is one of the most important specialised technological exhibitions in Egypt and the region, and “is an excellent platform from which we review a number of innovative scientific solutions,” he said.

He pointed out that the company provides services to the aviation, transport, banking, oil and gas, and public sectors, highlighting its partnership with Elsewedy Electric to manufacture solar panels.

The company reviewed, during Cairo ICT, its surpass integrated solutions—a set of flexible sophisticated systems that allows operators to monitor all entrances and components of buildings.

Siemens also reviewed a package of its latest trends for enterprise security systems.

CEO of Siemens Technologies, Emad Ghaly, said that the world is moving towards digital transformation techniques, adding that Egypt’s companies and institutions are thinking about the best means to improve their infrastructure in order to develop the services it provides its consumers and maximise revenues and financial results. “At the same time, our solutions reduce cyber risks through developing data and individual level security,” he noted.

Moreover, he said that Cairo ICT is one of the most important specialised technological exhibitions in Egypt and the region. “It is an excellent platform to review a number of related solutions to variable businesses,” he added. “These solutions were designed to enable our clients in these businesses to deal with current and future security challenges—thus accelerating the digital transformation procedures.”
