Nokia unveils three new Android smartphones at Mobile World Congress

HMD Global, the home of Nokia phones, unveiled a new generation of Nokia smartphones. The highly anticipated global portfolio features three new smartphones—the new Nokia 6, the Nokia 5, and the Nokia 3. The new range of Nokia smartphones all run Android™ Nougat and offer a pure, secure, and up to date experience, and they will all feature Google Assistant. During the Mobile World Congress, Nokia also announced the return of a modern classic—the iconic Nokia 3310, reborn with a modern twist on design and equipped with a battery that allows for 22 hours of talking time.

Arto Nummela, CEO of HMD Global, said that Nokia has been one of the most iconic and recognisable phone brands globally for decades, noting that in the short time since HMD was launched into the market, the positive reception they have had has been overwhelming.

The family of products announced during the Mobile World Congress will be introduced to domestic markets in the second quarter of 2017.
