Germany – The UAE pavilion at the International Anuga exhibition in Germany surprised the Egyptian companies Monday with a small celebration because of Egypt’s qualification to the World Cup on Sunday. The UAE companies participating in the exhibition cut the table on this occasion and distributed to the Egyptian wing companies, expressing their happiness with the Egyptian team’s qualification to the 2018 World Cup in Russia.

The UAE companies and other Arab opposition companies had watched the match between Egypt and Congo on Sunday in the Egyptian pavilion on a large screen in the centre of the Egyptian pavilion and extended their working hours in the exhibition, which closed its doors at six until the completion of the match.

The Egyptian team had qualified on Sunday evening to the finals of the World Cup after beating the Congolese team 2-1. Egypt’s two goals were scored by Mohammed Salah.

A joyful atmosphere surrounded the Egyptian pavilion at the exhibition of Anuga and numerous cheers of “Long live Egypt” rang out after the team won.

In response to the celebration, the Egyptian pavilion sent a group of skirts and participants in pharaonic costume for a show in the UAE pavilion.
