The third quarter of 2017 saw Egytrans’ consolidated revenues grow by 106.1% y-o-y to reach EGP 291.6m, driven mainly by the continued positive performance in regular businesses, reflecting Egytrans strategy of focusing on and strengthening different revenue-generating business lines to offset the expected slowdown in mega projects performance during Q3 17, as a result of the scheduled completion of the projects started in 2016.

Egytrans, a provider of logistics and transportation solutions in Egypt, announced its consolidated results for the third quarter of 2017.

The report said that the growth in revenues were coupled with a considerable improvement on cost-to-revenue ratio by 1,065 points to record 56.0% in 9M17 vis-à-vis 66.6% in 9M 2016, leading to a higher EBITDA margin of 36.2% versus 16.1% for both respective periods.

The report noted that net profit, after deducting taxes, has shown a 3.5 fold increase from the same period last year, reaching EGP 81.7m, up from EGP 21.6m, with a margin of 28.0% vis-a-vis a margin of 15.3% in 9M16 despite higher taxes this year, coupled with nil investment income versus EGP 0.7m in the comparable period.
