Business women of Egypt 21 association (BWE21) announced that its fourth annual conference will be held under the title “Women for Success” in the period from 17 to 21 February in Luxor and Cairo governorates.

The conference will be attended by many Egyptian ministers including the minister of environment, minister of investment and international cooperation, minister of trade and industry, minister of social solidarity, and the minister of planning, in addition to the president of the National Council for Women “NCW”, as well as the director of the Department of Women, Family, and Children at the Arab League, and the director of the department of the Civil Society Organisations at the Arab league.

More than 120 business women from Egypt and from all over the world will participate in this conference.

“The goal of the conference is to support the progress of women workers and assist them in overcoming the challenges that they face,” Youma El-Sherdi, chairperson of BWE21 said.

El-Sherdi added that the conference also aims to provide and present successful examples of Egyptian businesswomen, to encourage the cooperation between different countries, and to demonstrate the success of women leaders as a role model for promoting the Egyptian economy in the Middle East.

“Thus, we are working through the conference to provide a communication programme, to establish relationships among members from different countries, to exchange ideas, and to provide a platform for sharing best practices in business to maximise benefits,” El-Sherdi explained.

“We are working to bring together businesswomen from around the world to share their experiences and success stories with women who have small and medium enterprises (SME’s),” El-Sherdi assured.

BWE21 is a self-financed, independent NGO striving to serve its members who come from wide range of business backgrounds, offering their expertise for the benefit of all members.
