Total reveals latest Total Excellium gasoline 95, partnership with Rahhala racing team

Product compatible with all vehicles, limits exhaust emissions


Total, one of the world’s leading energy providers, announced the latest updates on its recently launched Total Excellium gasoline 95 in Egypt, as well as the renewal of its partnership with the Rahhala racing team.

In February 2018, Total launched Total Excellium gasoline 95 in Egypt across 50 stations nationwide.

Total Excellium gasoline 95, available at the same price as regular gasoline 95, is a new fuel product that cleans engines, provides lasting protection, and ensures better performance, lower fuel consumption, and fewer polluting emissions. It is compatible with all existing gasoline vehicles, including cars, light utility vehicles, two-wheelers, and trucks.

Commenting on the performance of Total Excellium gasoline 95 in the Egyptian market, Mehdi El Guerchi, operations director of Total Egypt, said that the launch of Total Excellium in Egypt was a resounding success for Total.

“Egypt is one of our major strategic markets, with a high demand for the latest in fuel products. We see Total Excellium gasoline 95 as a perfect fit that meets the needs of vehicle owners, regardless of the make and model of their vehicle. Our portfolio has been steadily expanding in terms of the top-tier products and services we provide, and Total Excellium gasoline 95 is one of our key product launches this year. We are steadily expanding our Total Excellium gasoline 95 distribution network, in order to reach more customers that will benefit from its specially engineered properties that maintain and extend engine life with the least amount of emissions possible,” he added.

As part of its commitment to work with the best teams in motorsports, Total Egypt renewed for two years its sponsorship agreement with the Rahhala racing team, covering a wide range of activities.

Rahhala, being Egypt’s leading Egyptian motorsports team, won the Gouna Rally Special in 2018 for the 5th consecutive year and has won a number of major awards over the years, including four Egyptian National Rally Championships in 2009, 2010, 2013, and 2017.

Hany Omar, head of Rahhala, spoke of the partnership, saying, “given that rally terrain is some of the harshest in the world, making for the toughest possible driving conditions for any vehicle, we could not have asked for a better partner in success than Total.
