The Syrian Armed Forces clashed with the Turkish forces for the first time south of Ras Al-Ayn city in al-Hasakah governorate, wounding and killing dozens of soldiers in the area, said the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR).

The Russian warplanes have also resumed their bombardment on the de-escalation zone, carrying out several raids in the southern countryside of Idlib, the observatory added. There was no information about the casualties.

Moreover, the clashes which started on Saturday, near Tal Tamer continued for the fourth day between the pro-Turkish militant and the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic forces (SDF).

Due to the heavy fire exchange in the area, seven Syrian militants were killed and more than 14 were injured in the area’s shelling.

On the other hand, the Kurdish Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (NES) said on Tuesday that Turkey is trying to prevent the maintenance work in a water station east of Ras al-Ain. It added on its official site on Facebook that Turkey is trying to deprive more than 500,000 residents of al-Hasakah city from drinking water.
