Toyota Egypt launches digital transformation agenda via partnership with SAP

Toyota Egypt Group, the sole distributor for Toyota Motor Corporation products and one of Egypt’s largest automotive distributors, has recently announced a digital transformation partnership with global technology company SAP; to drive new levels of customer experiences.

“As Egypt’s automotive market kicks into high-gear after the pandemic, customers expect automotive dealers to fully integrate sales, services, and spare parts. According to the Automotive Marketing Information Council (AMIC) Egypt, about 168,000 passenger vehicles were sold in Egypt in 2020, a 32% increase from 127,000 in 2019,” declared Ahmed Monsef, CEO, Toyota Egypt Group.

“Toyota Egypt counts more than 10 showrooms & service centers, with more than 850 employees. Supporting automotive innovation, Toyota Egypt is working with the SAP channel partner Edraky to advance a group-wide digital transformation agenda. Thanks to our digital transformation with SAP, Toyota Egypt can gain timely insights. The raft of real-time solutions will enhance both customer & employee experiences, attain higher levels of customer satisfaction, add digital revenue, replace manual processes, with a high synchronization between different departments to enhance the work performance,” added Monsef.

Toyota Egypt will also deploy the SAP Customer Experience suite to power seamless and personalized customer experiences across channels, and the SAP Analytics Cloud solution for end-to-end organizational analytics,” explained Mansour.
