Update: 2 Swedish tourists injured in Hurghada hotel attack

Two Swedish tourists were wounded as unknown assailants stormed  the Bella Vista Hotel in Hurghada on Friday and opened fire.

They are currently being hospitalised, according to the Ministry of Health

Security forces managed to thwart the attack, injuring and killing two of the attackers.

Following the attack, police forces blocked all roads leading to the hotel and ordered the closure of nearby shops.
