CAIRO: Middlesbrough could be boosted by the return of injured striker Ahmed “Mido Hossam when they take on Bolton Wanderers in the Premiership on Saturday.

The Egyptian has been ruled out since the start of November with a hamstring injury, missing the last two outings at Aston Villa and Everton.

But according to manager Gareth Southgate, Mido is tipped to return to action at the weekend, alongside French forward Jeremie Aliadiere, who missed the Everton draw due to illness.

Jeremie had sickness on Friday night and had to pull out of the squad, Southgate told Boro s official website.

He should be back into the squad for next week and we re pretty hopeful Mido will be back as well.

Mido is the current top scorer at Riverside with four goals, even though he was forced to miss several games in the Premiership this season.
