Egypt is set to be affected by a 4-day wave of unstable weather conditions, starting Wednesday, Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) said in a statement.
According to the statement, strong winds which raise dust and sand across the country, which might lead to turbulence in navigation in the Mediterranean Sea, especially on Wednesday and Thursday.
The temperature would rise in most parts of Egypt 3-4 degrees Celsius, starting Wednesday and ending on Friday with 5-6 degrees drop.
Cairo weather forecasts indicate that lows of 12 degrees are expected on Wednesday, 13 on Thursday. While highs of 22 degrees are expected in the same period, dropping to 16 degrees on Friday.
Also, EMA forecast that there is a chance of rainfall in Cairo starting Friday and ending Sunday.
In Alexandria, temperatures are expected to drop to 19 degrees Celsius on Thursday and 17 degrees the following four days.
While on the Red Sea coastal cities Hurghada, and Sharm El-Sheikh will see average highs of 23 to 25 from Wednesday till Friday, and lows of 13 to 14.
The southern cities of Luxor and Aswan will witness highs of 23-25 and lows of 10 from Wednesday till Friday.
