Amr Talaat, Egypt’s Minister of Communications and Information Technology, has met with Kaja Kallas, Prime Minister of Estonia, during the former’s visit at the head of a delegation to Estonia to exchange experience in the field of digital government.
Kaja Kallas welcomed the Minister and his accompanying delegation. She expressed her excitement about cooperation with Egypt in the areas of digital transformation.
During the meeting; the Minister of Communications said that Egypt wants to benefit from Estonia’s pioneering experience in the field of digital transformation, digital data management, and digital technology to enhance government performance and build e-government in light of the Egyptian state’s keenness on transforming into an integrated digital society.
The meetings were attended by Haitham Salah, Egypt’s ambassador to Finland and the non-resident ambassador to Estonia, Khaled El-Attar, Deputy Minister of Communications and Information Technology for Administrative Development, Digital Transformation and Mechanization, Sherine El-Gendy, Assistant Minister of Communications and Information Technology for Strategy and Implementation, and Hossam Othman, Vice President of the Information Technology Industry Development Authority and Head of the Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center.
