Wealth Management department at BNP Paribas bank has won the prize for “outstanding private bank in Europe” at the 2014 Private Banker International Awards, the bank announced in a Friday statement.

BNP Paribas said that that their Wealth Management department has also won the award for their “outstanding philanthropy offering” and to have been “highly commended” for their private banking  in North Asia due to having “Best Discretionary and Advisory Service Offering” and providing the “Most Innovative Digital Offering”.

“We are truly proud to have received these recognitions for Europe and North Asia as it confirms our solid position as a reference private bank. It also truly reflects our commitment to provide effective, tailored solutions for our clients,” said in the statement BNP Paribas Wealth Management Co-CEOs, Sofia Merlo and Vincent Lecomte.

Private Banker International (PBI) describes itself as a leading journal for the global wealth industry and is known as a working tool for private bankers, relationship managers and other industry professionals. The Private Banker International Global Wealth Awards took place on 17 October in Singapore and were organised by online data provider Timetric that provides integrated information services covering risk assessments, forecasts, industry analysis, and market intelligence.
