Metropolitan to raise funds worth EGP 40m for TechnoScan and MetaMed

Metropolitan Egypt contracted with TechnoScan and MetaMed to secure financing of EGP 20m for each company, according to Khaled Nagaty, the CEO of the company.

Metropolitan Egypt was founded in 2008 and offers a variety of financial and credit services to small and medium-sized companies.

According to Nagaty, TechnoScan (the radiology services provider) requires financing of EGP 20m to buy a new ray of Hitachi products to assist in the expansion plan that the company plans to implement.

For his part, Mohammed Abou El Nile, deputy chairman for the financial, administrative, and operations sector at Metropolitan Egypt, said that MetaMed also needs financing worth EGP 20m to complete renovations of the new building that the company is constructing in Fifth Settlement, adding that the new building will contain medical supplies for cancer treatment.
