Egypt condemn Houthi attack on 2 Aramco facilities in Saudi Arabia

Egypt’s Foreign Ministry condemned the drone attacks which targeted two Aramco refineries in the Saudi Arabia’s Eastern Province. The attack was claimed by the Iran-backed Houthi movement in Yemen, according to a statement from the movement.

The Foreign Ministry said in a statement that Egypt stand in solidarity with Saudi Arabia, and support all measures taken by the kingdom to defend it self against terrorism.

The attack was condemnded also by  UAE’s foreign ministry, saying that  “any threat to the safety and security of the Kingdom is also a threat to the UAE’s safety and security,” and that the attacks are “evidence of terrorist groups’ attempts to undermine security and stability in the region.”
